Alberobello這個名字源自於中世紀時這地區的拉丁名~
『siva arboris belli』(The wood of the tree of war).

阿爾貝羅貝洛Alberobello位在義大利東南部、 是Puglia大區裡的一個小村落。
這裡的Trulli建築群保存完好，在 1996年被列入了世界文化遺產。
與同屬世界遺產小鎮的日本合掌村結為姐妹市，
兩者都擁有走進童話世界般的場景和建築。
雖然這是2、3個小時便能逛完的迷你小鎮，
我在這裡待了約21個小時(第一天下午抵達，第二天中午離開)，
悠悠哉哉的感受小鎮的清晨、黃昏及入夜後美景。

Trullo是一種農村建築，作為野外避難所和倉庫使用。但在Alberobello，這種建築樣式被當作居民的生活住所，算是特例。

現在看起來猶如童話場景的小鎮，背後的歷史由來卻一點也不浪漫，竟是貴族為了逃稅的小聰明（還是狡猾呢？），而選用這種可隨時拆卸的建築。14世紀時，孔韋爾薩諾伯爵（Count of Conversano）掌管了這個地區，為了讓官方認定Alberobello是個無人居住的地區，以支付少量的稅款，不讓居住在此的農民建造永久性的住宅，而是使用一種可以很容易拆除及重建的石灰石來建造Trulli。
為了逃避稅項，才建這種容易拆掉和重建的Trullo。是說拆掉屋頂代表人去樓空，查稅的人就會以為這裡沒人住？（這個理由也太狂了吧~~）

Trulli的建築特色是：屋頂用灰色的小石塊建成圓錐頂，屋身也是由小石塊砌成，塗上了白色，內部主要建材為木頭。
屋頂會有一些白色的圖騰及象徵符號，像半月形、十字架，愛心......等，據說可以為居民驅走惡魔，帶來幸運以及保平安。
這些圖騰簡直就是象形文字嘛~~
想猜一猜，每個圖騰符號'代表什麼意思嗎？
我買了一本可攤開來的拉頁小冊子，除了有很多美麗的照片之外，這本冊子最吸引我的地方就是介紹了很多出現在Trulli屋頂上的圖騰和符號。

東側的Rione Aia Piccola （阿賈·皮科拉區）是住宅區，約有400個Trulli，大多數都還有人居住，少部份也成了商店和餐廳，這區較少遊客。
西側的Rione Monti（蒙蒂區） ，約有1000個Trulli，現在是商業區，有許多紀念品店、餐廳，是許多遊客駐足的地方。
有Trulli商店，Trulli酒吧，Trulli餐館，甚至二十世紀的斗笠教堂，聖安東尼奧教堂和Trullo博物館。如果不打算在Alberobello過夜，那可要好好的逛一逛這些地方，藉由進入這些建築，看看Trulli建築的內部構造。

〈Alberobello 的夜晚〉
 
華燈初上的時刻，街景最美。
白天熱鬧非凡、人聲鼎沸的商店區主街，入夜後好冷清。  這房子看起來好像在攝影棚搭的景，因為天空的顏色好不真實，好像刻意打的光。  |
稍晚之後，天空透著奇妙的橘色光。
看見一隻貓，怕牠溜了，趕緊按下快門，結果沒對焦在正確的位置上。
牠的毛好蓬鬆，好漂亮的一隻貓。
夜晚的Alberobello，除了餐館門庭若市外，路上沒什麼遊客。
沒多久，便開始起霧。我們正在前往餐廳的路上。
起霧後，氣溫驟降，變得很冷。日夜溫差很大。

不過，說實在話，沒拍到旅遊書介紹的景點也沒關係啦，因為我在Alberobello還是玩得很開心、逛得很盡興、買的東西雖然不多，但也很有紀念性。總之，留下了一個很美好的回憶。
